I know Dr. Seuss's birthday was last week, and you might be all "Seussed" out, but March is "National Reading Month!" I just saw some of the cutest activities on one of my favorite sites. If you're all finished up, you can save these ideas for next year, or if you still planning on doing more with Dr. Seuss you could incorporate some of these. We are actually going to continue with a few more Dr. Seuss activities next week...check them out at Skip to My Lou!

Seuss is on the loose!
This week we have read every one of Dr. Seuss's books (at least it seems like it). However, I can say that they did a fabulous job because they so LOVED hearing and reading his books.
Here are a few of my favorite things about this week...
Here are a few of my favorite things about this week...
Even our sweet little cafeteria ladies got involved...they made green eggs and ham for breakfast one day!
My teacher bud (who REALLY needs to start her own blog-hint, hint- I know you're gonna read this Jazzy) dressed up in her cute little cat in the hat outfit!
We reviewed doubles facts with
"One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish."
These are hilarious...
a dog walking a human...
a grape driving a car with a banana...
a person walking a fish...
and a cat playing at the park.
We also got a chance to meet with some friends from 4th grade and listen to more Dr. Seuss books! The students did an amazing job modeling smooth, expressive reading.

Happy Birthday Seuss
I know you probably have enough Dr. Seuss stuff to last you a whole month (maybe longer). I started looking through all of my Dr. Seuss files and downloads, and ended up making this one short and sweet!
I downloaded Rachelle's cute Dr. Suess stuff here, and then I purchased Donna's unit from TpT (which is packed-100 pages)! Between the two of them and stuff I already had-I am well prepared for next week!
