My sweet husband sent me these beauties today! It was so nice to glance over at my desk while I was teaching and admire them. He's a definite keeper (for life)!
That is so sweet! Last year for Valentine's Day, my husband got me a bottle of Bicardi and a teacher vest. Seriously, I am NOT the type of person to every wear decorative teacher gear. I have long been the person to say shoot me dead if I pull out an apple or pumpkin vest. I am not hating on anyone who enjoys those types of outfits, but it is just not me. I looked at him and said, "Are you serious?" I took the rum to my girlfriends house and had a bash the hubby party. Can I give your husband my husband's number? Can he help him out? :) Your sooo lucky.
Aww...that is so sweet. You have a keeper! My husband is really good at practical gifts. LOL! Last Valentine's Day I got an electric blanket. :) He does usually bring me home left over carnations from the carnation sale at the HS where he works. LOL!
Very beautiful flowers!! how fun! Thank you for your new cupcake stuff on tpt! I had just uploaded on my blog a cupcake activity that this will go perfect with for this week! Here is the link to mine if you want it! (of course I am still new at making things so it's not as cutsie as yours!) http://firstisafairytale.blogspot.com/2011/02/cupcake-vowel-sort.html
Hi! My name is Brooke Perry. Welcome to Perspectives! I am currently a reading specialist in Texas. This is my 10th year in education. I love reading, watching students develop a lifelong love for reading, and assisting teachers with reading projects in their classroom!
I am married to Mr. Incredible, a software engineer, and I have 3 handsome, energetic little boys! My undergrad degree is from The University of Texas at Austin in Child Development & Family Relations. Hookem'! I also have a master's degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis on literacy and language development.
I love shopping, baking, reading, event planning, turning trash into treasure, and finding great deals! Perspectives began as "Primary Perspectives" and was created in fall of 2010. Over time it has transformed into an informational and educational blog with resources for parents, teachers, and families. I love comments and questions. Welcome to Perspectives, and thanks for stopping by!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

ReplyDeleteAwww! I got a special delivery at school, today, too, but they were from my dad! I blogged about it and I hope my hubby took notes :)
