I was out of school for the last few weeks of school so I was able to rest and hang out with my boys for about a week before his arrival. During the first few weeks of May I had so much to share, but I was in the process of packing up my entire classroom because for the next few years [at least] I'll be staying home with my little guys! I am SO excited to take this opportunity to focus on helping them learn and grow. You'll notice that I'll still post resources, articles, and tips for children-just with a different focus. I've renamed the blog "Perspectives." I am so thrilled to share my point of view on parenting, pre-school learners, and primary education. I have a few teacher friends who have agreed to let me come into their classrooms every now and then to shadow, teach mini-lessons, or work with small groups. If you're in the DFW area and you're willing to share your kiddos with me, just send me an e-mail.
I know I'm going to miss teaching tremendously, but I have already started working on lesson plans and activities for Christian and Solomon. I promise to update the blog with more pictures soon. . .right now I'm just trying to get adjusted to a new sleep schedule! I hope you had a fabulous end of your school year, and if you're still going-just hang in there! Thank you for your patience with me during this school year. It was one of my most busy, challenging years yet. . .I couldn't have done it without my amazing husband and the best teammates in the world-Jasmine, Colleen, Genese, and Brandy!
I love this guy SO much. . .just when I thought all the pieces of my heart were taken, God allowed me to see that I have so much more love to give! I feel so blessed!
Congrats on Baby Jaxon being born. I love your blog and can't wait to see what kind of stuff you will be blogging about!
