Just finished wrapping up my sub plans, and I'm looking forward to spending the day with "the sisters" tomorrow. I'll take great notes! Have a great Friday.
Have a great time, I just read the D5 book, and actually got The Cafe in the mail today, can't wait to implement this next year. I live in Corpus and just saw they were having a conference. I wish I had known awhile ago I would have Loved to go!!! ANyway enjoy!!!
I was just with them on Tuesday! They are very entertaining and so inspiring all at the same time! Enjoy! ~ Mrs. Mc http://littleliteracylearners.blogspot.com/
I'm SO JEALOUS!!!!! Can't wait to read all about it! I get to spend my Saturday with David Wiesner... the kind of wordless books. :) Not quite the same, but still exciting!
Oh my goodness! I was there today! Were you at the Kindergarten Workshop? LOL, I would've tracked you down and introduced myself as one of your loyal "blog-fans" lol. It was so fun!
Our whole first grade team is now teaching with Daily 5. I love it. I have seen the two sisters twice at reading conventions. I would love to spend a whole training with them. Thanks for sharing.
Hi! My name is Brooke Perry. Welcome to Perspectives! I am currently a reading specialist in Texas. This is my 10th year in education. I love reading, watching students develop a lifelong love for reading, and assisting teachers with reading projects in their classroom!
I am married to Mr. Incredible, a software engineer, and I have 3 handsome, energetic little boys! My undergrad degree is from The University of Texas at Austin in Child Development & Family Relations. Hookem'! I also have a master's degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis on literacy and language development.
I love shopping, baking, reading, event planning, turning trash into treasure, and finding great deals! Perspectives began as "Primary Perspectives" and was created in fall of 2010. Over time it has transformed into an informational and educational blog with resources for parents, teachers, and families. I love comments and questions. Welcome to Perspectives, and thanks for stopping by!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
