Here are a couple of things that I created for the end of the year. We are down to the last 13 days, and it's flying by!!! I am so proud of my students this year, and we're taking the last few weeks to review and wind down.
I am meeting with each of my kiddos this week for independent reading conferences to brag about their progress over the course of the year, discuss their current reading levels, and set goals for the summer. During the last week of school we'll have a talk about becoming part of the "Lifelong Readers Club." I made a membership certificate, student goal page, and a membership card. I'll laminate the certificates and membership cards. The goal page will be sent home with their report card or end of the year assessment information.
(So sorry about the glare on these...I started laminating some to test them out. I cut out the border of the document then folded it in half so they'll be front and back. I decided to use my home laminator because it has a stronger seal.)
Yesterday when I started the conferences, I took a break to check in with students during Daily 5, and I got this sweet sweet note from one of my cutie pies!
I'm hoping that I'll be able to post more consistently and get back on track now that I have a bit more time on my hands. Hope you're having a great week!
Oh my heck! I love all of these printables! Thanks sooo much! It scares me a little each time it comes to the end of the year that some of my students won't even pick a book up! Maybe this can motivate them!!!!
